Doing this will let you start with the maximum amount of hearts. Alternatively, you can hold the A button on the Game Over screen for five seconds, which will result in the same effects. The game will automatically start, but keep holding the A button down until you hear an audio cue.
You'll start the game with maximum hearts, and the sword will already be at Level 2 when you find it. However, if you die while this code is activated, you'll have to hold the A button for five seconds on the Game Over screen to continue with maximum hearts. If you don't input the code, the game will continue with only three hearts. Also, if you don't use this code at the very beginning of the game, you won't be able to activate it later on in the same play file.
When starting a new game, select a play file and hold the A button for five seconds. This will cause Link's life, attack, and magic gauges to be maxed out, and give him access to all his spells and abilities as well. When you normally use the clock, it has a generic chime to keep pace with the time. But if you press and hold the A button for five seconds, you'll activate Sound ON Mode, which replaces the chime with the music and sound effects from the game being depicted onscreen.
When you're on the timer setting screen, press and hold the A button for five seconds. This will activate Time Attack Mode, in which you're tasked with killing 21 enemies as quickly as possible. When on the title screen for Vermin, press and hold the A button for five seconds.
This will unlock Game C, which is harder than the other options. If you don't want to use the code to unlock the Second Quest in the The Legend of Zelda, you can do it the old fashioned way by beating the game.
Once the Countdown Timer Mode runs out of time, don't press any buttons to continue. Instead, leave it on the same screen for 30 seconds. A fairy will suddenly appear and fly around in the background. The longer you leave it running, the more fairies will appear.
If you don't press any buttons for three minutes, the console will automatically enter Sleep Mode. When it does, some bonus art may appear. There are 11 images in total, and the one that appears depends on what game was being played when it went into Sleep Mode, as well as what time it is. In some labyrinths, you'll encounter a Goriya who will grumble at you and refuse to move until you give him your bait in exchange for him letting you go forward. However, there is a way to keep this from happening.
When you return to your game, you'll find that you still have your bait but the Goriya is no longer there. As soon as you enter Level 1, exit.
Then, go back into Level 1. You will notice that the northern door is now unlocked. Kill all the enemies except for one in a particular screen, and next time you go through there will only be that one enemy there, instead of them all coming back.
Before entering Gohma's room, ready the bow and arrows. Now go inside and quickly shoot an arrow. Gohma will be exactly in front of you with his eye open so he will die in one shot. If you bought a red-colored Water of Life, when you use it once, it turns blue, meaning you can only use it once more before it disappears.
Doing so will make it red again. If you're touched by a flashing bubble, instead of waiting for its curse to wear off, immediately blow the whistle. The moment you stop playing, you'll have the ability to use your sword again.
NOTE: This trick doesn't work against the red bubbles in the second quest. As you probably know, the file select screen keeps track of how many times you die in the game. To die and have it not count against you, quickly press A, B, Start, and Select as Link is spinning around before he falls down, and select Save and Quit. The game should reset. Now load up the file you were playing, and you should continue as if you lost, only the loss will not register on the file screen!
OK, go to the screen above the screen where the first sword is found at the beach use the screen warp glitch and you will be in the water. They even went to the effort of crafting a puzzle where the played must press the Sacred Crest against the sea. This puzzled gamers for hours upon hours, possibly even days. The way to solve the puzzle is to physically close the Nintendo DS so that the top screen physically touches the bottom screen.
If you managed to solve this puzzle before snapping the DS in half, you deserve to be rewarded for your genius and masterful Zelda playing. Throughout the game you will have collected pieces of the mirror Zant has broken so you can enter the Twilight Realm and defeat him.
Upon entry there is one place to go; a foreboding dark series of rooms. At the end of this series. Midna says it is like the sun to them. Once you take it, the hand comes alive, following you through the puzzling series of rooms, trying to get it back from you.
As if this is not terrifying and trying enough, you have to do it twice; the second variation being even longer and harder to complete. Wind Waker was the culmination of 3D Zelda. It had been quite sometime since a Zelda game had been released, so Nintendo deemed Wind Waker the perfect game to release with their brand new Gamecube system. Wind Waker is an incredible installment in the Zelda franchise, and is revered as some gamers' favorite Zelda game.
Obviously Ocarina of Time remains a fan favorite, but Wind Waker comes in close second. Wind Waker falls into the child timeline of the Zelda series and also takes place largely out on the seas versus on land. After heroically sailing across the seas, you discover one of the pieces lies on a ghost ship. Now, the ship itself is not necessarily difficult. Once you make it onto the ship, all you have to do is fight some enemies and retrieve the Triforce piece.
What's difficult is actually getting onto the ghostly pirate ship. Before you get on the ship you need to find the ghost ship map which will allow you access to the ship itself.
Scouring the seas to find the ship map is incredibly tedious and difficult, and earns this puzzle's ranking. The main plot to the Wind Waker game is you are trying to rescue Link's sister, who has been kidnapped by Ganondorf. Link then leaves his home of Outset Island with a group of pirates led by Tetra, and they agree to help Link find his sister. This leads to the famous searching across the high seas that everyone has grown to know and love in Wind Waker.
One of the first places that Link searches for his sister is the Forbidden Fortress, a terrifying place filled with enemies and ever-seeking search lights. Link enters the fortress by being launched from a canon on Tetra's ship, which lands him on the fortress but causes him to lose his sword.
Link must then sneak around the fortress Solid Snake-style in order to find his sword so he can defeat the terrifying enemies. Link must hide under barrels, sneak past the pigs, sidle across walls, etc. Majora's Mask is one of the darker Zelda games. Joining the ranks of Twilight Princess, Majora's Mask creates a world that is rather dark and mysterious.
With a giant, terrifying moon looming over Termina, Link is tasked with ensuring that it does not fall. However, he only has 72 hours to do so. If you want to knock down a bee hive but don't want to blow it up, you can act like a real life bee keeper. If you light a fire under a bee hive, or hold a lit torch under one, the bees will flee the hive leaving its contents to you. This is fairly simple to accomplish. Simply take a Spicy Pepper some types of mushroom also work and light it on fire.
Anything from a torch to a fire arrow to a Flameblade will work. As it burns, it will create an updraft that Link can use to get to higher areas that have been previously inaccessible, whether from stamina limits or other limitations. It can also work with 4 or more wood clumped together, but it is more resource intensive.
Contributed By: Dustfinger and Definitelyhuman. On Eventide Island, if you drop things on the raft before stepping off of it onto the island, they will still be there after the cut scene. Use this to make clearing the island a breeze. To skip the puzzle, take the orb and stand in the middle of where the orb is supposed to go.
Put the orb down and use the Stasis Rune to freeze it. Then, run up to the platform that rises up and wait for the rune to wear off. The orb will roll into it's place, raising the platform and thus, skipping the puzzle entirely. You can submit new cheats for this game and help our users gain an edge.
