Opening large files in vi




















I have small program which stores the from database to a particaular shared memory. But while retreiving the valus from the same shared memory, i am getting wrong values. Please help Hi, Does anyone know if this is a patch error or a real memory problem, its happening a lot and wanted to know what to expect if I reboot it.

My file is very big its in terms of MB. I am using ksh for this. When we opened the file in vi editor, normally at last line we are able to see whether this is eol or noeol file. But i does want RedHat Commands.
