Hi, all of a sudden my computer started to autolock after a brief period of time, i really don't recall setting this up, and i've looked everywhere for the option to either disable or setup a higher time frame for the autolock.

Any one can steal your data and sell or use it against you or install unwanted software, malware, or spyware. Auto-lock can prevent that to an extent. It can also conserve energy, especially useful when the laptop is drawing power from the battery. There are several reasons for turning off auto-lock as well. Secondly, I was wondering if someone could explain to me why a good portion of the links, shortcuts, etc, I try to select, won't even run.

I click it, nothing happens. Some things in my start menu I'll run from the search, and it won't run. I can't even access a lot of things in the control panel because it simply, won't, work.
